Director Biography
Alessandro Celli was born in Rome in 1976 and is an Italian-Canadian graduate from the Master of Arts program at the London Film School which is directed by Mike Leigh. He has made several short films which have received worldwide critical acclaim, winning more than 30 awards at International festivals. In February 2007 he became an exclusive director for Casta Diva Pictures, one of Milan’s leading advertising production companies, where he directed commercials for client such as Procter & Gamble and RCS Gruppo Rizzoli. In April 2008 his short film "UOVA" won him the David di Donatello, the Italian Film Industry's highest recognition. In 2009 Celli has been chosen by Ermano Olmi to directed "LA PAGELLA" (The report card), a short film which is part of the prestigious Per Fiducia film project.
